Portable Application Launcher organises shortcuts into groups and categories. It's accessed via the system tray or user defined hotkeys. Several styles and some languages are included. It can also be used as a portable desktop.
PAL is capable of automatically installing PortableApps.com Format (PAF) applications, as well as many entries on PortableFreeware. There's a browser for downloading apps which can be used with Universal Extractor and a simplistic updater module. It also includes several extras like a favorites bar, "most-used apps" menu, file manager & search, RSS & Ical readers, timer and more.

Remarkably useful! Have used every USB app launching facility. PAL is my favorite due its excellence in design & usability.

This is the best portable app utility that I have found. Kudos!!! :lol:

I have to suggest that one feature be added that would make this app perfect for my needs: I would like to be able to individually choose for each document on the USB whether the default system application will load the document or whether an application on the USB will load the document instead.

Awesome app. Very configurable! It was fairly easy to create my own launcher style. Has just the right set of features without the bloat other app launchers have.

Hi I miss two basic things:

1 Possibility to associate hotkeys to the "WinKey" button

2 Have a check for automatic updates at portableapps.com
